Only from the best grapes of our vineyard is selected the Amarone Gran Lombardo. Intense and deep ruby color; exceptional scent of elegance, scent of ripe fruit and delicate spices. Enveloping tannin, soft and ripe. It goes perfectly with rich, refined dishes, red meats, roasts and braised. Great great as wine to sip.

PRODUCTION AREA. Valpolicella (Italia). GRAPE VARIETIES. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina.

VINE TRAINING METHODS. Guyot organic cultivation.

PLANTING DENSITY. 4000 pts/ha.

VINEYARDS HEIGHT. 350 m a.s.l.

WINEMAKING. Only healthy grapes are picked during the harvest in September, grapes are placed in vats to drying for three months (withering) this process involves grapes and drying them indoors to concentrate their sugars, acids, tannins and flavours. After three months the grapes are pressed. The must obtained starts alcoholic fermentation. Aging is in oak barrel for three years and will develop complex flavours such spicy and ripe red cherry. It must age for other 8 months in bottle.

AGEING. Barrique - Tonneau.

APPEARANCE. Deep ruby.

AROMA CHARACTERISTICS. Spiced with tobacco and black pepper aromas, with hints of cherry and dried fruit.

PALAT. Strongly fruity, with a marked fragrance, soft robust, warm and vigorous. ALCOHOL. 15.5% - 16.5% vol. in relation to the vintage.

PAIRING WINE AND FOOD. Red meat, roast beef, game, aged cheese.

SERVING TEMPERATURE. 16 °C - 18 °C.

AGEING POTENTIAL. 15 - 20 years and over.
