Deruta Ceramic Christmas Ball - LUSTER PEN - 60 mm

The ancient technique of metallic reflections in the third firing, called del Lustro, is used here with peacock feathers recreating the sixteenth-century atmosphere of glazed ceramics.

Difficult to carry out technically, this decoration requires many steps and three firings to give life to the iridescent color.

Completely hand painted, it is produced in a very limited number of copies
