Salina, a small island in the Aeolian archipelago, is a land highly suited to the cultivation of vines. In this corner of paradise between the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and breathtaking views, the Colosi family has been cultivating vineyards in suggestive terraces overlooking the sea for over 40 years and producing unique wines that tell of light, wind, sun, color.

The farm, with its 10 hectares of vineyards between Capo Faro and Porri, is one of the most representative producers of the island of Salina. The area is considered among the best both for exposure and for the chemical-physical nature of the soil of volcanic origin.

The vineyards were planted in terraces by restoring the old dry stone walls and includes the typical vines of the Mediterranean island viticulture: Corinto Nero, Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese, Inzolia, Catarratto and Malvasia. The latter, undoubtedly, represents the main grape variety of all the wine production of the territory and of the Colosi company.

The Colosi winery is literally immersed in the vineyards, partially underground in order to comply with the strict regulations that protect the territory and the landscape of the Aeolian archipelago. This location allows to maintain a constant temperature, suitable for the optimal conservation of wines.
