Method of Production
Manual harvesting, maceration of cold grapes for 24 hours. Fermentation in steel vinfiers, derailing and malolactic fermentation. Finally aging in barriques for 6 months.
Notes of Tasting
Casalforte Pinot Noir is an elegant and fine wine that on the nose it expresses intense hints of small red fruits such as currants and blueberry, juniper and notes only hinted at vanilla and cinnamon. Its good freshness and the excellent persistence make it a combination ideal for appetizers based on cured meats, roasts and meat red on the grill.
