The company is located in the hills of the wonderful Chianti landscape, the extension is 165 HA divided into 2 blocks, in the municipality of Poggibonsi there is the winery and most of the vineyards, in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti there is the Farmhouse and another part of the vineyards, all part of a small village dating back to the year 1000 AD. It was acquired by the current owners in 1983, having immediately the aim of producing quality wines, in a short time the San Fabiano Calcinaia winery became known throughout the Tuscan landscape first and throughout the nation, it immediately showed itself a company ready to experimentation without ever forgetting the Tuscan winemaking tradition.

Its territory is characterized by 2 different environments, the first Cellole typically Chianti environment characterized by soils rich in marl at an altitude of 550 meters a.s.l. olfactory like the Riserva di Cellole, wines obtained even in difficult years with high complexity. The second is San Fabiano which lies between the end of the Chianti hills and the beginning of the Sienese hills, the soil is characterized by a medium texture with a good percentage of clay, the altitude is 250 m a.s.l. We obtain wines with a good structure accompanied by a pleasant freshness and a good aromatic olfactory complexity such as Chianti Classico.
